F.Y. Eye is the nation’s only nonprofit social impact media organization amplifying nonprofit messages through a network of digital screens in trusted community spaces across NYC.
Where public service announcements (PSAs) are shared at no cost. Today F.Y. Eye is pleased to announce #LinkToCommunity, a strategic partnership with New York City’s expansive communications network, LinkNYC, that will increase F.Y. Eye’s PSA distribution and ensure nonprofits have equitable access to the public square.
This alliance will dramatically strengthen the voices of nonprofits by expanding the reach of F.Y. Eye’s PSA distribution, to now appear on the streets of NYC through LinkNYC’s kiosks, and will diversify the content of LinkNYC’s display screens.
F.Y. Eye’s PSA Network – Free Advertising Space For Nonprofits
F.Y. Eye was founded in 2005 with its cornerstone program, the PSA Network. Utilizing a network of digital screens currently located in community spaces such as health clinics, supportive housing facilities, and community centers, the PSA Network provides nonprofits with no-cost advertising spaces to build public awareness about the wealth of social, civic, and educational resources and programs provided by local nonprofits.
The PSA Network further addresses a fundamental problem in the nonprofit sector, which is that traditional advertising is prohibitively expensive for many nonprofits, preventing them from delivering critical information to those in need. The PSA Network serves as a bridge, putting the power of information in the hands of the people.
“The nonprofit sector plays a fundamental role in building a more equitable, compassionate, and inclusive society by addressing social needs, driving social change, and mobilizing resources and support,” said Christina Daigneault, Executive Director of F.Y. Eye. “LinkNYC supercharges our mission to democratize advertising and helps nonprofits bring critical information directly to the people.”
F.Y. Eye and LinkNYC Partnership, #LinktoCommunity, Advances Community Voices
LinkNYC’s kiosks have become an integral part of the city’s urban landscape and provide a powerful communication platform, offering free Wi-Fi, phone calls, charging stations, access to city services, and more than 1,800 digital billboards across the five boroughs that will now be utilized by F.Y. Eye’s PSA Network to help amplify nonprofit PSAs. The new #LinktoCommunity partnership between F.Y. Eye and LinkNYC will catapult nonprofit PSA distribution on F.Y. Eye’s PSA Network from a previous reach of 2 million impressions per PSA before the partnership, to over 47,408,658 impressions.
“LinkNYC provides a valuable public service, and our partnership with F.Y. Eye will allow us to expand on our LinkLocal program by providing wider accessibility to the screens for nonprofits,” said Nicole Robinson-Etienne, LinkNYC’s Director of External Affairs. “A major objective of our mission is to empower and advance community voices through our state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure, and we trust F.Y. Eye to help facilitate this effort.”
How Can A Nonprofit Submit a PSA to F.Y. Eye’s PSA Network?
