This Saturday, July 23rd at 5pm, free with Boricua Master printer Yolanda Velazquez will be presenting works from her printmaking workshop in Puerto Rico, at the Taller Boricua’s Rafael Tufiño Printmaking Studio, in East Harlem, NY. Yolanda Velázquez studied at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (1987-92) where she obtained a BFA. Velázquez has received various merit awards including a Merit Scholarship from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago and funding from the NEA and the Institute for Culture in Puerto Rico.
