Qiolor Tiger Review
The Qiolor Tiger comes in two frame types: step-thru and step-over.
- Motor: 750W
- Top Speed: 26 mph
Qiolor Tiger Performance
Upgraded Motor
This bike features an upgraded 750W brushless geared hub motor. The motor’s inner ring is high-temperature resistant, enhancing heat dissipation.
The ring reduces the attenuation speed of the motor magnets, increasing its durability and ensuring a longer lifespan.
The motor is powerful, providing a top speed of 26 mph through e-bike pedal assist. The Tiger has five pedal assist modes, with each PAS level differing by 2.5 mph.
In addition, the motor comes with a torque sensor that measures how hard you pedal. This allows the motor to adjust the power it provides, making it more efficient than the previous models.
The Qiolor Tiger’s motor delivers 86 Nm of torque, enough to propel the bike over hills without stalling or struggling.
The right side of the Qiolor Tiger handlebar features a half-twist throttle. By engaging the throttle, you can ride the e-bike without pedaling.
This e-bike was tested on a 12% gradient bike path, and its climbing performance was excellent.
On PAS 5, the top speed was 16 mph, and with just the throttle, the top speed was 13 mph. During testing, the bike maintained high speeds and is one of the sturdiest e-bikes on the market.
Battery
Qiolor equipped the Tiger with a new 48V 15Ah lithium-ion battery, which offers reliable performance and a long lifespan.
The rechargeable high-capacity battery has a high energy density, making it ideal for the Tiger as it provides reliable performance over a wider range.
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
We conducted brake tests to determine how quickly the Qiolor Tiger comes to a stop. This e-bike features hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors.
The braking test involved accelerating the bike to 20 mph and then applying the brakes five times to determine the average stopping distance.
Despite the Tiger’s weight, it performed well in the brake test, stopping at 12 feet 7 inches. This result places it among the top ten bikes tested similarly.
The braking performance makes it ideal for commuters using e-bikes in traffic.
The high braking power comes from the combined weight of the bike and rider and the efficient hydraulic braking system. The fat tires also play a significant role, providing ample traction during braking, allowing the rider to stop quickly in emergencies.
Drivetrain
The Tiger features a fairly standard Shimano 7-speed drivetrain with an Altus rear derailleur and Tourney shifters.
While the shifting performance is decent, the gear ratio doesn’t quite meet its speed requirements. Qiolor could improve the Tiger by providing a more effective gear system for a better experience.
Qiolor Tiger Design and Features
Frame and Geometry
Qiolor redesigned the Tiger’s frame, offering both step-thru and high-step versions. It features a rugged aluminum alloy frame suitable for riders between 5’1” and 6’4”.
The geometry has been slightly modified, and the battery is removable. The bike’s rear end has more angled tubes designed to make it sturdier, enhancing the riding experience.
It also comes with a heavy-duty aluminum kickstand to keep the bike balanced when parked, a comfortable SR saddle connected to a 30.9 * 350mm alloy seat post, and alloy pedals with reflectors.
400 lbs Load Capacity
One of the highlights of the Qiolor Tiger is its strong load capacity. The frame is robust, capable of handling a payload of 400 lbs (about 180 kg).
While this bike is suitable for mountain biking adventures, it can also be easily used for long-distance commuting and even touring. The versatile frame has many mounts for saddlebags.
Suspension
The Tiger features a front suspension fork that absorbs impacts, reducing vibrations transmitted to the rider. This is advantageous for the Tiger as it is an all-terrain bike.
Its fat tires also absorb shocks, providing a better riding experience. However, its performance is not as good as a dual suspension bike.
Wheels and Tires
The Tiger has 20″ x 4″ all-terrain fat tires, perfect for all-terrain riding.
The rear wheel has 12-gauge spokes, and the front wheel has 13-gauge spokes.
The tires provide ample traction when riding on rough, muddy, or snowy terrains.
We do not recommend riding the e-bike on rocky terrain as it only has a front suspension, making it tricky to maneuver in turns.
Display
The Tiger features a standard black and white LCD display that provides important information such as:
- Power
- Mileage
- Rider speed
- Battery capacity
- Pedal assist level
- Range
You can also use the LCD display to charge your phone. Additionally, it features a standard cockpit with a 7-speed shifter and a twist throttle on the right side.

Moreover, it comes with faux leather grips for a more comfortable hold.
Free Accessories
The Qiolor Tiger comes with free accessories, such as:
- Full fenders
- Rear rack
- Repair tools
The fenders help protect you and your bike from tire spray when riding on muddy or wet terrains. You also get repair tools to replace parts and make repairs if your bike gets damaged.
Qiolor Tiger Review Conclusion
The Qiolor Tiger is one of the more affordable e-bikes on the market.
Several factors contribute to its current status, including braking and climbing abilities. The impressive test results in these areas make it worth considering if you are looking for an affordable e-bike.
Some issues, such as the original gear ratio and faux leather material on the handlebars, can be fixed. However, you must adapt to other issues, such as understeering. Whether to purchase the Tiger depends on what the buyer wants and if it meets all requirements.
