On Monday, September 12, 2011, longtime Harlemite and designer to the stars Edwing D’Angelo unveiled his Spring 2012 collection to an exuberant crowd for his Couture Fashion Week 2011 show. This star-studded event was held at the super sexy Red Bull Lounge downtown in Soho, NY.
The show was typical Edwing D’Angelo with beautiful couture garments in an array of browns, blues, and whites with all the NYC chic flavor for men and women. The uptown meets downtown look is a mixture of youthful, sexy, button-up tailored heading to work wear. Edwing seems very influenced by his early years on 124th Street and Broadway in Harlem, and his global trotting influences that make for a international Harlem style. So, as they say in the video jingle, Edwing “D’Angelo I’m internationo,” baby – sit down get a glass of water and ice, and check out this hot video by StarveTV!
