They were a musical group of ladies that had rocked the world with their meaningful lyrics and cool songs. Originally assembled by Harlem’s Diddy, the ladies parted ways due to creative differences. But now almost all of the members of this band have decided to bury the hatchet and form a solid foursome. Except for one member, all the others have teamed up to churn out a musical number “Bye Baby”.
In the song, which seeks its roots in 70s Rhythm and Blues, they bid farewell to the men in their lives. The group declared its return to the scene at the MTV Awards Show. The world of song and dance has profited by the re-addition of these talented and headstrong ladies.
Not only are the women of Danity Kane totally independent and footloose, they also ooze tons of self-confidence. And with the passage of time they seem to have built rock-solid personalities that resist any labels or stereotypes.
The group now contains: Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard and Aundrea Fimbres. The bond between them is strong and it will hopefully go a long way. The only one figure missing is D. Wood. But she has given all her moral support to the female band and wishes them lots of luck in the future (source).
