Permits have been filed for a seven-story apartment building at 101 Macombs Place in Harlem, New York reports New York Yimby. Located between West 154th Street and West 155th Street, the corner lot is one city block south of the 155th Street subway station, serviced by the B and D trains. Mordechai Hirsch of MCM Developers is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot tall development will yield 26,220 square feet, with 21,892 square feet designated for residential space. It will have 30 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 729 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar.
Fariba Makooi of Fischer + Makooi Architects is responsible for the design.
Demolition permits were filed in June of 2018. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
