Join DeAnna Tisdale-Johnson, as she talks Charles Tisdale civil rights leader, publisher, and one-time owner of The Jackson Advocate, Ben Jealous, Charles Evers, singing, and more with host  Danny Tisdale, on The Danny Tisdale Show.

In honor of Black history month, DeAnna Tisdale-Johnson, and daughter of Charles Tisdale, civil rights leader, publisher, and onetime owner of The Jackson Advocate. DeAnna has performed in the Los Angeles, California at the 102nd Annual NAACP Convention during the Spingarn Awards and internationally in Rome. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Music (M.M.) degree in Vocal Performance, where she graduated both magna cum laude and an Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She continues the legacy of her father Charles Tisdale and the work that he started at The Advocate in Jackson, MS. She is the Associate Publisher of the world-renowned publication.
