My Black is Beautiful and Gold Series, the official hair care partners of Black Panther, teamed up with Marvel to give VIPs in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta a preview of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Hosted in Washington by the incredible Candiace Dillard-Bassett (Bravo, “Real Housewives of Potomac”) at Regal Gallery Place and in Atlanta by the fabulous Eva Marcille Sterling (“The Rickey Smiley Morning Show”), both screenings brought out the city’s notable VIP’s including Charisse Jackson Jordan (Bravo, “Real Housewives of Potomac”), Kamil Hazel and Cornelius Bryant (OWN, “Ready to Love DC”), Trina Braxton, Lloyd, Sheree Whitfield (Bravo, “Real Housewives of Atlanta”), Harlem resident Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson (HGTV) and Dr. Heavenly (Bravo, “Married to Medicine”). HBCU Students from Howard University’s Chadwick Boseman School of Fine Arts, Spelman College, Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University attended the screenings as well.
Just as Black Panther shifted culture in entertainment, both My Black is Beautiful, and Gold Series are doing the same in the beauty industry.
For over 16 years, My Black is Beautiful has and continues to celebrate Black beauty, excellence, and joy!
Gold Series was one of the first hair care lines, made by Black scientists, to hit the shelves over six years ago.
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in theaters now nationwide.
