Uptown Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez Statement Regarding Tropical Storm Dorian

We must get ready to help our Dominican and Puerto Rican brothers and sisters if the Tropical Storm Dorian becomes worst.

We invite all New Yorkers to be prepared to help our Dominican and Puerto Rican brothers and sisters, in the face of the Dorian storm threat and demonstrate the solidarity that characterizes the inhabitants of the Big Apple.

“The White House has to be better prepared for the hurricane season so as not to fail our Puerto Rican brothers and sisters again,” said Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez of District 10 representing Washington Heights, Inwood, Dyckman and Marble Hill.

Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez calls on the inhabitants of the Caribbean islands, to take all necessary measures to prevent human losses in the presence of Tropical Storm Dorian, which could become a hurricane upon arrival in the Greater Antilles, Puerto Rico and the Republic Dominican.
