Harlem Councilmember Mark Levine states that:
NYC is far behind on vaccination. We need at least a 10-fold increase in the pace.
That’s why I’ve called for 24/7 testing at hundreds of sites around the city, with a major mobilization of staff and volunteers.
Does that sound too ambitious? New York City has done it before. We can–and must–do it again now.
While we are fighting hard to increase the pace, many of you have asked questions about who is currently eligible for vaccination, how to sign up, what is the plan for eligibility groups going forward, and more.
To help you answer your questions, I am hosting a live online Q&A to discuss the current state of the vaccination plan in New York City and what it means for all of us.
It will be this Thursday, January 7th, 2012, at 4:30 pm.
