NYU’s Dr. Suzanne C. Carothers At The Harlem Adult Education Conference

hqdefaultDr. Suzanne C. Carothers is the key note speaker at the Total Equity Now’s Harlem Adult Education Conference on May 1st, 2015 at Teachers College, Columbia University in Harlem, NY.

The Harlem Adult Education Conference is designed to support Harlem’s adult-education professionals and adult learners in building productive, cross-program relationships through peer-to-peer exchanges of instructional strategies, lesson plans, and research. The event is organized by The City College of New York – Continuing and Professional Studies, Harlem YMCA Literacy Zone, New York Public Library, and Total Equity Now.

Dr. Suzanne C. Carothers is a Professor at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in the Department of Teaching and Learning. Prior to assuming this position, she served as a Professor of Elementary Education at The City College of The City University of New York in its Department of Education.

The event is hosted by Teachers College, Columbia University, on Friday, May 1, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
