We are pleased to continue to bring you many virtual learning opportunities.

The following are the scheduled SBDC workshops for March 2022:

Start Your Lean Business, Launch Your Business Quickly & Profitably

Participants in this newly recorded workshop will get an introduction to the same innovative entrepreneurship principles currently taught to Columbia MBA students.

Building a lean business means that you start and grow the enterprise concurrently while developing a scalable business model, instead of spending months writing a theoretical plan.

“Business Financial Success Made Simple” is a semester-long comprehensive program of informative and skills-building classes and one-to-one business counseling for small business owners with a profit motive.


From learning the lingo to analyzing your financial statements for better business strategy, this program will set you up for building wealth.

The 2022 semester started on February 19th. Upcoming March workshops:

Small Business Finance 101 Part 2: Developing Cashflow

In this workshop, participants are introduced to basic finance terminology and budget categories.

They will learn how to review and understand the relevance of standard financial reports: profit and loss statement, cash flow statement, balance sheet.

Quickbooks 101: This Introductory course for small business owners & self-employed professionals that are new to the bookkeeping platform, hands-on instruction to start, maintain the basic bookkeeping & accounting needs of your business.

This course was created to help professionals properly categorize financial transactions and more.
