Join three leading contemporary artists at the City Museum –Christopher “Daze” Ellis, Jane Dickson, and Lee Quinones – as they discuss how New York City’s environment, culture, and daily life have inspired their work. Each artist will explain how they incorporate the city’s great diversity of energy and lifestyles into their distinct vision, as well as the special challenges (personal, social, and logistical) the city presents. The panel will be moderated by the Museum’s Curator of Prints and Photography, and is presented in conjunction with the new exhibition Chris “Daze” Ellis: The City Is My Muse.
Tuesday, December 8, at 6:30 p.m.
