Children’s Literature Salon: Honoring Benny Andrews In Harlem

drawwhatbigSchomburg Education, in partnership with Community Works, presents a family event to celebrate diverse books in conjunction with our exhibition, Curators’ Choice: Black Life Matters.

This Children’s Literature Salon: Honoring Benny Andrews event will honor artist Benny Andrews, and feature a reading by author Kathleen Benson and workshop. 

The Children’s Literature Salon is a series geared towards young adult readers and all lovers of children’s books. Schomburg Education proudly supports the #WeNeedDiverseBooks campaign, and will have a series of installments throughout the year.
