Celebrity Chef And The Holy Griddle: David Burke Serves Up Holiday Magic With Salvation Army In Harlem

On Friday, December 22, 2023, the Salvation Army Harlem Temple Corps Community Center, was located at 540 Lenox Avenue in Harlem, NY.

The Salvation Army Harlem hosted its annual holiday brunch for over 350 residents facing challenges during Christmas. The festive meal, featuring pancakes, turkey bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, fries, and eggnog, brought joy and support to those who might otherwise go without a hot meal on this day.

Celebrity Chef David Burke, renowned for his 19th restaurant in NYC, personally served guests at their tables alongside volunteers.

He provided delicious baked goods for the event, contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Salvation Army officers, staff, and volunteers.
