Celebrate Love With Valentine’s Ready “IVY HEART” Collection Colab With adidas And IVY PARK

February 6, 2022

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is most definitely in the air.

And if you happen to reside on the western side of the world, then it’s likely the color red plays some part in your planned celebration.

For IVY PARK and adidas, that is most definitely the case, as the two’s upcoming “IVY HEART” collection uses the bold hue as a symbol of romance and “love for one’s self.”

Like many of IVY PARK’s previous offerings, this capsule shines athletic wear through a fashionable lens, simultaneously using a vibrant palette to uproot the garments’ from their preconceived purpose. “Foundation,” “active,” and “fashion” remain the imprint’s three core pillars, defining everything from the velour dresses and tracksuits to the faux latex puffers and sequin dusters.

Accessories, too, are equally luxurious, inclusive of a clutch and a heart-lip belt bag.

As for footwear, adidas has offered Beyoncé an extensive selection — some new, others more familiar. First, the upcoming Stan Smith near completely subverts the original design, molding its upper out of an off-white, tumbled leather.

Its side walls are raised just a bit higher, shrouding most of the ghillie lacing, and the heel tab is raised without any seams.

Below, the shoe is doubly unique as it dips its midsole in a rubber casing. The IVY Superstar Plim is similarly refreshing as it essentially imagines the beloved Shell Toe as a feminine mule.

Accompanying the two are three fan-favorites: the Savage sneaker arrives in “Cheeks,” the Swim Slide in “Lipstick Smudge,” and the UltraBOOST in “Candy Paint.”

The pieces are currently set to release at adidas.com on February 9th, 2022, with select retailers to follow on February 10th, 2022.
