Boys & Girls Club Of Harlem To Host Celebration Of Fabulous Futures To Harlem Youth

boys-and-girls-clubAfter the grand opening of a brand new Clubhouse, the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem will hold its annual fundraiser and celebration, “Autumn in New York,” commemorating 35 years of serving the local youth of Harlem as it embarks on a new chapter at PS 186. 

At the event, the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem will recognize, Shola Olatoye, Chair & CEO of the New York City Housing  Authority for her career in public service, Club Board Member, Elois Dupree, for her volunteer service, and Carver Bank for their contributions to the Harlem community.

Other attendees include:

  • Shola Olatoye, Chair & CEO of the New York City Housing  Authority
  • Sharene and Guy Wood, Owners of the Harlem Haberdashery
  • Carver Bank CEO Michael T. Pugh
  • Boys and Girls Club of Harlem Executive Director Dominique R. Jones, Board Chair and Board of Directors

Music will be provided by DJs Freedom Party and Sundae Sermon. Sharene and Guy Wood, owners of the Harlem Haberdashery, are honorary co-chairs for the event.
