The NYPD is trying to identify four thieves who broke into a Harlem apartment building and stole bicycles worth more than $4,000, police told Patch.
Four teenagers — three female and one male — illegally entered a residential building on Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 124 Street last month and stole four bikes from the building lobby, police said. The robbery occurred Aug. 14 around 3 p.m., police told Patch.
No injuries were reported during the theft, police told Patch. The value of the bikes is an estimated $4,700, police said.
Police did not know much information about the suspects except that they are likely teenagers. Physical descriptions for each suspect could not be provided.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
