Join us for an interactive and engaging afternoon contemplating the current and historical impact of the sugar industry on African Descendant communities as well as nutritional, economic, environmental and grassroots prescriptions and strategies for breaking the sugar habit. Speakers include Dr. Carina Lopez, nutritionist Chinara Tate, fitness specialist Osiris Flores, Human rights activist Ajamu Baraka, humanitarian Alba Mota and cultural worker, Guesnerth Josue Perea.
