Last weekend, The WNBA’s L.A. Sparks invited mega-producer Harmony Samuels’ new artist MAJOR and Amber Riley GLEE to sing their latest single/anthem “Change Right Now,” in response to the recent tragedies that have taken place (i.e: Alton Sterling, Philander Castile, Orlando), that has affected us all from Harlem to Harare. The WNBA’s L.A. Sparks took on the Washington Mystics at the Staples Center, winning 93-82.
The stars had this to say:
This is OUR response to the racial injustice happening across America in the FREE World we want people to MAKE THIS THEIR ANTHEM… – Amber Riley.
This is a major movement that we are trying to create so I am calling on my other artists to join in because we as artists must come together and express ourselves as only we can…the world is listening – MAJOR
Other special invited guests to the game included, singer Elle Varner, Karen Civil and actor Marcus Scribner (“Blackish”).
