BRP Companies has filed applications for a seven-story, 39-unit mixed-use c at 847 St. Nicholas Avenue, located on the corner of West 152nd Street in Hamilton Heights in Harlem. The project will encompass 35,279 square feet and rise 67 feet to its roof. All of the project’s residential units will rent at below-market rates through the housing lottery. There will also be a 572-square-foot community facility on the ground floor.
SLM Architecture is the architect of record, Real Estate Weekly reported. The 6,941-square-foot plot is vacant. In order to proceed, the new building must receive the approval of the Landmarks Preservation Commission since the site is located within the Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill Northwest Historic District.
