A Kass Fashion Red Carpet 2014 Review And Forecast

We are merely 28 days into the New Year and 2014 has proven to be an explosion of trendy fashion thus far!

2014 is the year of robust color palettes and eclectic fashion styling reminiscent of the 1960’s, 1980’s and a fresh twist on geometric cuts, traditional prints and luxurious fabrication. Spring 2014 is offering fashion consumers lots of color, a combination of symmetrical and asymmetrical midriffs, tailored looks, deep necklines, and fitted gowns in light and fluid fabrications. Conversely, Spring 2014 offers an array of lapels and cuts on the bias. Likewise, the spring 2014 color palette reflects the return of the black and white blocking trend, soft reds, bursts of orange, splashes of chartreuse green and yellow and the return of purple or as it what we know as radiant orchid! Summer 2014 fashions will make use of the spring color palette infused with bright, deep injections of color reflecting fiery, vibrant color theory.

Jan Article_4As January historically serves as peak season for annual award shows, and in addition kicks off an annual a month long celebration of the artists with complimentary red carpet fashions for shows such as the People’s Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards and most recently the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. The annual award shows allow participants and attendees the opportunity to view spring fashions on their favorite celebrity trendsetters. The red carpet fashions to date have been a varied mixed of semi-formal, cocktail, and formal. As we are in the middle of Awards season, the red carpet and celebrity events have afforded consumers a number of trendy styles and color palettes kicking off 2014 fashion trends.
