The Worldwide Leasing Team of Faith Hope Consolo at Douglas Elliman arranged the lease of retail space for Pharmacy 5th Ave., at 1325 Fifth Avenue, on the southeast corner of 112th Street, in the Central Park North section of Harlem.
National accountancy chain H&R Block was the previous tenant on this busy corner, with its foot traffic and visibility attractive to Pharmacy 5th Ave., which will be expanding into their third location in New York.
“We’re watching Uptown mature on the daily,” Faith Hope Consolo said. “After all the restaurants and boutiques, what really signifies this as an emerging neighborhood are these staple businesses that cater to the diversity of the residents, visitors and other retailers.”
This block of Fifth Avenue features schools Harlem Academy and Sunshine Daycare, as well as Fifth Avenue Social Adult Daycare, plus popular neighborhood restaurants City Cookhouse and Maxwells Central Park.
Pharmacy 5th Ave. owns and operates two other locations, Surf Avenue Pharmacy, in Brooklyn, and Austin Street Pharmacy, in Forest Hills.
