NY1 reports that the future of the Second Avenue subway could be in jeopardy under President Donald Trump’s new $1 trillion infrastructure plan.

It will cost $14 billion to extend the Second Avenue line.

Meanwhile, lawmakers insist federal funding is necessary to build the Hudson Rail Tunnel between the city and New Jersey.
It would help clear up congestion along the Eastern Corridor.
Trump tells the paper he will look at both projects and submit them to a not-yet-formed commission.
He is also considering attaching the infrastructure plan to a revived version of his failed healthcare overhaul, in order to win bipartisan support.
