World famous archaeologist Kathleen Martinez, State Senator Adriano Espaillat, Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez and other local elected officials and leaders will hold a press conference to announce that Kathleen Martinez will be speaking this weekend in Washington Heights at Columbia University’s Armand Hammer Health Science Building. The rare presentation will include information about new findings in her search for Cleopatra’s lost tomb. In addition to the long-awaited updates on Martinez’s awe-inspiring search, which will also be discussed at the press conference, the event is aimed at educating children, and the community at-large, about the importance of archeology and the role it plays in unlocking the secrets of our past.
Martinez, who has spent years in search of Cleopatra’s lost tomb, has already made several important discoveries during her excavations, including unearthing artifacts and other tombs from Cleopatra’s era, creating global excitement for her expedition. Before deciding to embark on her search, Martinez was a successful criminal lawyer in the Dominican Republic.
