A 41-year-old woman repeatedly stabbed a man in her third-floor apartment late Monday night, police said.
Shemi Robinson was arrested around 10 p.m. after stabbing a man, 41, in the torso three times after the two argued, according to the criminal complaint. Her 20-month old son was in the room during the incident.
Paramedics transported the victim to Harlem Hospital Center, police said. He is expected to survive.
Robinson was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child during her Tuesday arraignment, according to court documents. She was released on her own recognizance during her arraignment. Robinson is scheduled to be back in court on Oct. 24.
