Today, Panorama kicked-off the first day of its mega-inaugural year. The “modern day World’s Fair” presented by Goldenvoice, offers a Coachella-East like flavor with music performances, technology-inspired art installations and food – what else do you want!.
The day’s performances included an explosive headlining set from Arcade Fire with a guest appearance by Preservation Hall Jazz Band who finished the set with a singalong on-foot through the crowd, DJ Khaled who brought out fellow superstars T.I., Fat Joe, and Remy Ma, Alabama Shakes, Major Lazer, FKA Twigs, and many more.
The Technology – Inspired Art piece was a Panorama debut of The Lab which features works that combine technology, artistry and design, created exclusively by New York-based artists. The Lab is presented by the Verge, powered by HP Inc., and curated by META.is. Artists include FutureWife, Dave & Gabe, Gabriel Pulecio, Mountain Gods, Red Paper Heart, Zachary Lieberman, Emilie Baltz, Philip Sierzega, and Antfood.

Despite the warm temperatures, took care of guests who were able to beat the heat at multiple locations, including THE LAB, the Despacio Tent, and The Parlor Stage which featured A/C, The Pavilion Stage, which is tented, and misting and free water refill stations throughout the grounds.
Tomorrow, Kendrick Lamar will headline the main stage, and bands including The National, Blood Orange, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, and more will also preform.
