Last week, O’Melveny honored an extraordinary group of NYC public high school students with inspiring stories to tell, including three from Harlem’s Thurgood Marshall Academy.
Fatouma Barry immigrated to Harlem from Guinea, West Africa, and dreams of becoming an OBGYN and opening her own women’s care clinic to provide healthcare, education, social-emotional services, and socioeconomic support to young women; Zoe Albertinie aims to attend a historically black college and aspires to become an elementary school educator; Crystal Baily is Salutatorian of her graduating class, with a passion for music and plans to pursue a career in medicine.
