You know you live in a great country when it tries to include everyone.
Today the U.S. Supreme Court said for the first time, any couple — straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender — can obtain a marriage license and make their commitment public and legal in all 50 states.
Don’t get me wrong, America has its issues, but we’re a country that works, works and works hard at getting better, and this is one we got right.
Congratulations to our straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender neighbors from Harlem to Hollywood.
