ccadi in harlemJoin CCCADI for our 2015 showcase “Dear Diaspora”, a culminating celebration of the achievements of our brilliant students and teaching artists in our Prek-12 arts-in-ed program, T.L.C.: Touching Living Culture.

Take workshops, enjoy performances, get to know our teaching artists and join the conversation exploring ways to bring diaspora to the classroom and more arts to our communities.

  • 4pm Visual-Arts Workshop – Taino Petroglyphs – with Gabriel Pacheco
  • 5pm Teaching-Artist Performance Demonstrations – Storytelling, Bomba Music, Roots-Jazz Conduction
  • 6pm: Roundtable Discussion featuring the Center for Arts Education, CCCADI, and our esteemed teaching artists

Student artwork from Heketi Charter School and PS 111 will be on display
