HW Pick: A Red Carpet Week For Japanese designer Hiroko Tashiro

fashion nycThe designs of Hiroko Tashiro of Red Carpet In New York, have walked some of the city’s most visible red carpets this week, helping to raise money while donning the likes of singing sensation, Kelly King, and media maven, Mariana Silva-Buck.

In a glamorous affair that celebrated the LGBT community, and particularly the cross-dressers, the 29th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns took place April 11, 2015, at the Times Square Marriot Marquis Hotel, giving a nod to the lavishly-dressed women of the night. One of the women who turned heads at the gala was powerhouse vocalist, Kelly King, who belted the national anthem in one of the dresses by Japanese designer, Hiroko Tashiro, who recently débuted her FW 2015 collection in the penthouse of the Hudson Hotel for Fall Fashion Week 2015.

Later in the week, it was the CEO of Beautiful World International (BWI), Mariana Silva-Buck, who stunned onlookers at The Attic Rooftop on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in a Hiroko Tashiro gown at BWI’s night of philanthropy, titled “Spring into Action,” benefitting Animal Aid USA.
