In the latest update of Diddygate a surprising turn of events, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ partnership with Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School has come to an abrupt end.
The decision, announced on Tuesday by the school’s founder, Dr. Steven Perry, follows recent sexual assault allegations against the music mogul.”
After careful consideration, we have decided to terminate our collaboration with Sean Combs,” Dr. Perry stated in a now-deleted announcement. “While this was not an easy choice, we believe it is essential for the continued health and future of our institution.”
This development closely follows Combs’ departure from his role as chairman of REVOLT, the media company he founded. REVOLT released a statement emphasizing that Combs’ step back is temporary and aimed at allowing the company to maintain its focus on creating meaningful content for Black voices.
Legal Challenges Mount for Combs
The termination of these partnerships coincides with a series of legal challenges facing Combs. It began with a lawsuit filed by his former partner, Cassie Ventura, alleging a decade of physical abuse, sexual battery, and other serious charges. While this suit was swiftly settled out of court, it opened the floodgates for additional legal actions.

Two more women have since come forward with their own allegations against Combs. Joi Dickerson-Neal claims she was drugged and assaulted by the mogul, while another woman, identified only as Jane Doe, alleges sexual assault involving Combs and R&B artist Aaron Hall.
Denials and Defense
Combs’ legal team has vehemently denied all allegations, dismissing them as opportunistic attempts to exploit recent changes in the statute of limitations laws. “These decades-old stories lack credibility and are clearly motivated by financial gain,” a spokesperson for Combs stated.
As the legal battles unfold, the impact on Combs‘ extensive business empire and philanthropic efforts remains to be seen.
