“Our city’s transit unions are vital to keeping the Big Apple moving,” said Karen Ignagni, CEO of EmblemHealth. “Heroes of Labor is an annual opportunity to honor the labor movement for their contributions, which are the backbone of our city.”

EmblemHealth and LaborPress proudly honored five labor movement members this year who have contributed to the success and advancement of unions in New York City.

They are:

  • Ijandor Manesy
  • Jean-Guy Martial
  • Peter Warner
  • Mario Galvet
