Michaela DePrince, an inspiration in the ballet world and Dance Theatre of Harlem ballerina, passed away at 29.

DePrince’s talent shone brightly as a second-soloist with the Boston Ballet. Her illustrious career included acclaimed performances with the Dutch National Ballet and the Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she made history as their youngest principal dancer.

More than just a dancer, DePrince was a passionate advocate for children affected by conflict. She served as an Ambassador for War Child Holland and hosted the Dare to Dream gala, focusing on the mental health of children in war zones.
