Luther Vandross, “Never Too Much” At ImageNation Outdoors In Harlem (Video)

The 22nd ANNUAL IMAGENATION OUTDOOR film and Music Festival will run from July 27th – to Sept 21st in Harlem, New York. 

In addition to outdoor screenings of Black films, live music performances, and DJs some of the festival highlights include; Drive-In Movie Series at East River Plaza and the HW50 Sidebar a celebration of Harlem Week 50th Anniversary (HW50) feat. films about Harlem and/or made in Harlem, the first annual ImageNation’s Afro Cinemusic Festival a 3-Day film and music festival in Marcus Garvey Park, Kids Night Out Back to School Event and the NYC premiere of Luther: Never Too Much at our annual ImageNation’s Soul Train Tribute which is also an official billboard Live Hip Hop and R&B Week event in also in Marcus Garvey Park and the ImageNation X FDBA Open Streets Movie Series, ImagiNation has partnered with BuyBlack.org to create BuyBlack Shopping Village, a marketplace that will be at most outdoor festival events and the festival lounge.

DAY 1 Thurs. Aug 29th – film: MAY THE LORD WATCH: The Little Brother Story w/ music: The Hip Hop Fraternity artists paying tribute to the iconic rap group and Sundae Sermons’s  DJ Stormin Normin spinning on the 1’s $ 2’s.In partnership with the Hip Hop Education Center‘s 50 for 50 film series.
DAY 2 Fri. Aug. 30th – music: JAZZMOBILE’s SUMMERFEST various live jazz artists performances.
DAY 3 Sat. Aug. 31st – film: HAL KING w/ music: various neo-soul artists, from the film Hal King, performing live before the film.

IMAGENATION’S ANNUAL SOUL TRAIN TRIBUTE LUTHER: NEVER: TOO MUCH

Thurs. 9/5 in partnership w/ InJoy Enterprises. The official billboard Live Hip Hop and R&B Week event is happening in the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park. The event will feature various music artists performing Luther Vandross tribute songs, audience participating in a Soul Train Dance Line, DJ’s, vendors, surprise celebrity guest  and ends with a premiere screening of LUTHER: Never Too Much.
