There are plenty of rewarding opportunities for you to study engineering and start a career as an engineer. NACME lets you explore everything you need to know about engineering. You can learn what kinds of engineers there are, what courses to take to become an engineer, how to apply to engineering colleges, and even how to pay for college. Middle School Students

If you ever wanted to build a mobile phone, design your own high-tech car, or if you want to work for Google or Apple, then engineering may be the right career for you! High school may seem far away but now is the time to start on your education path. Before you know it, you’ll be a junior in high school and it will be time for you to make decisions about your next step after graduation, including which college to attend. NACME’s Middle School Programs can open the door to engineering for you.

High School Students

Your future is coming faster than you think. Soon it will be time to think about what career you want to pursue and what college you want to attend. If you ever wanted to build a mobile phone, design your own cool car, or even create a spacecraft to travel to Mars, engineering may be the right career for you. Community College Students

Community college students represent a large and often overlooked pool who have the potential to work in engineering careers. More attention must be focused on the community college pathway to engineering careers for underrepresented minority students. NACME’s 2010 Community College Transfer Study showed that 21 percent of NACME Scholars have transferred from a two-year community college to a NACME Partner University and that NACME transfer students have a higher grade point average (GPA) than traditional four-year NACME Scholars.
