In East Harlem on Tuesday, the NYC Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and the Harlem African Burial Ground Initiative (HABGI) will convene at the 126th Street Bus Depot.
The purpose of this gathering is to unveil a forthcoming stage of archaeological exploration within the historical expanse of the Harlem African Burial Ground. Additionally, an announcement will be made regarding the initiation of a Request for Proposal (RFP) aimed at forming an education and engagement team.
