NYC Small Business Services Brings East Harlem Small Businesses Resources During Hispanic Heritage Month

September 27, 2022

The NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) on Wednesday, September 28th, 11 a.m. to – 2 p.m., will bring its Mobile Unit to 26 East 116th Street East Harlem.

The Mobile Unit and SBS staffers will offer a variety of FREE services including connections to financial assistance, free legal services for commercial lease assistance, business education, and help navigating government permits, licenses, and regulations – and more.

SBS is partnering with Community Board 11, New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and Uptown Grand Central to educate small business owners about the free services and support available to help them forge forward from the pandemic.

East Harlem’s small businesses have so much to offer and SBS’s ‘Mobie’ is here to help. We’re going neighborhood-by-neighborhood to reach small businesses where they are so we can build a stronger and more equitable economic recovery,” said NYC Department of Small Business Services Commissioner Kevin D. Kim. “If you have not met ‘Mobie’ now is the time to come out and see what SBS has to offer.”

Robust mobile outreach events are a commitment from Mayor Adam’s Blueprint for NYC’s Economic Recovery to strengthen the City’s service reach deep into communities that need them.
