Mastercard And The New York Yankees Team Up To Support NYC Small Businesses

Mastercard, the New York Yankees and Major League Baseball (MLB) have officially announced the launch of the 2022 Home Team Advantage Small Business Contest to help small businesses continue to grow and thrive.

To kick off the contest, MLB legend CC Sabathia called on small business owners across from Harlem to Hollis to submit their businesses for a chance to win.

As part of their ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting small businesses across the country, Mastercard and MLB are giving small businesses in the New York City area a chance to win:

  • A $10,000 grant
  • A Mastercard Digital Doors™ toolkit
  • Personal mentorship with Mastercard North America Small Business Lead, Ginger Siegel
  • A trip for two to attend the 2022 MLB® All-Star Game alongside iconic players or alumni
  • Further, the Yankees will provide select qualified winners with additional prizes and promotional opportunities including in-stadium signage, social media shoutouts and more
