From downtown to the Upper East Side, several charitable organizations will be hosting exquisite galas this fall season to raise millions of dollars for foundations throughout the world.
The Young Friends of Save Venice is hosting Murano Nights. The intimate seated dinner in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Save Venice will take place at the new private hotspot Casa Cipriani.
Host Casey Kohlberg and Lizzie Asher, Chair of the Young Friends, will oversee the glittering festivities that will include an aperitivo hour, shimmering gowns, and a surprise performance by dancers from the Brooklyn Ballet.
The legendary Viennese Opera Ball makes a grand return to Manhattan. Nearly 200 guests will come together at the Metropolitan Club near Central Park for The Golden Age – Let’s Swing party that will highlight dinner and dancing.
The Viennese Opera Ball is a nonprofit association that supports charitable projects that are connected to communities in New York and Vienna.
Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) will host the Collaborating for a Cure Gala. Elin and Michael Nierenberg along with the foundation’s board of directors will greet guests at Cipriani Wall Street for the 24th annual event.
Together Again will honor Debra S. Waller, Chairman and CEO of Jockey International Inc, along with Kevan Shokat, PhD of the University of California, San Francisco. A live performance by Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit will take place alongside a special guest artist Warren Haynes.
