have been home to NYC’s freshest foodie & cultural celebration.The Uptown Night Market, from MASC Hospitality Group – the creators of Bronx Night Market, The Uptown Drive-In Experience, Bronx Beer Fest to name a few – launched in August of 2021, quickly became a crowd favorite with thousands attending the monthly series, supporting some of the most eclectic food and arts & crafts vendors NYC has to offer while dancing to a packed and diverse lineup of local musicians curated in part with the help of Harlem Late Night Jazz.

On October 14th The Uptown Night Market, solidifying its stance as Harlem’s leading event series, will host the Taste Of Harlem, the event created by NYC’s Women Chambers Of Commerce in support of local restaurants and chefs. “This collaboration, in addition to the brand being honored as the newest member of the Harlem Arts Alliances, stamps our arrival,” said Marco Shalma, owner of MASC Hospitality Group, “It shows that the community is embracing us and that comes with the responsibility to innovate and outdo our last efforts. Which we welcome.”

The Uptown Night Market will take place on October 14th  starting at 4 PM on W135 & 12 Ave under the world-famous Arches of Harlem.

The event features 50 vendors such as Cupcake Me!, Twister Cake NYC, Uptownn, Cuzin’s Duzin, Arnie & Ebony Catering, Tada Noodles, Sam’s Fried Ice Cream, Fried Lasagna Mama, Treat Yourself Jerk, Butterfunk Biscuit, Tacos El Guero, C Bao, Mozzarepas,  Black Rican Vegan and much more.

The night market will have musical performances by City Love NYC,  CAPTAIN & THE NU GYPSIES, and DJ Cosi ; Tons of free giveaways from sponsors like Gorillas.App, Coca-Cola, Honest Tea, and more.

With only one more event in the series for the 2021 season (dated November 11) MASC HG’s team with local partners West Harlem Development Corporation, New York Women Chamber of Commerce, Gorillas.App,  Harlem Park 2 Park, and Harlem Arts Alliance are looking to enhance both the residential and business communities of West Harlem and beyond, enhancing the local cuisine and culture scene, in building a successful popular brand.

MASC Hospitality Group, the producers of Bronx Night Market in partnership with the West Harlem Development Corporation, is bringing its successful open-air concept, celebrating cuisine, community, and culture to West Harlem. The market features a curated and diverse selection of local West-Harlem & NYC-based food, beverage, arts & crafts, and packaged goods vendors. The series will also feature live performances from Harlem and NYC favorite local artists, and a variety of all family activities. It will employ predominantly – local staff and suppliers.

Taste of Harlem is a delicious celebration of the food, the culture, the art, and the music of Harlem. We want people from all over the city to experience all that Harlem has to offer.  Featuring dozens of vendors, the Taste of Harlem is a collaboration between the New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Uptown Market, with support from the Office of Councilmember Mark Levine and the Harlem Community Development Corporation (HCDC) to promote our small businesses and encourage visiting, eating and shopping in West Harlem.
