As we enter the peak of Hampton’s summer season, a new hotspot just an hour and a half from Harlem is being added to the mix of restaurants braving the Summer 2020 season. With social distancing restrictions prohibiting typical nightlife, Ruschmeyer’s has collaborated with entrepreneur Richie Hosein to help keep guests entertained and reinforce its reputation as one of Montauk’s premier destinations.
Etiquette Montauk, the new restaurant concept for outdoor dining at Ruschmeyer’s, will be kicking things off on Friday, July 3rd, 2020. The concept is an immersive dining experience featuring a multi-faceted theatrical show. The show will use interactive storytelling, light shows, and thematic soundscapes to create a multi-sensory, gastronomic experience that will evoke emotions and memories that go well beyond the food.
Hosein has built a reputation for unique hospitality experiences, exceeding expectations in both service and entertainment with every project he’s involved in. This has been proven true time and time again at his wildly popular Hampton’s nightclub AM Southampton and the NYC Meatpacking District hotspot Red Rabbit Club.
Hosein’s hospitality management company reinvented the infamous Playboy Club into a modern restaurant experience with reservations booked out weeks in advance. Celebrities who have been known to frequent Hosein’s venues include Michael Jordan, Harlem fave NY Giants Saquon Barkley, Gwen Stefani and more.
The menu, curated by Executive Chef Giuseppe Lentini and Enzo Lentini of Ruschmeyer’s, is the Mediterranean with deep Italian roots and boasts impressive champagne and wine selection. The dining area has 27 tables spaced 15-feet apart ensuring that social-distancing guidelines are enforced.
From stand out dishes as Fresh Montauk Calamari pan-fried with Pablo breadcrumbs to local Fresh Oysters to Linguini Frutti di Mare with shrimp, scallops, calamari, and mussels in a light tomato sauce.
Zuppa di Pesce, a combination of fresh fish and shellfish in a light tomato and white wine broth.
The menu also includes Neapolitan pizza from Ruschmeyer’s wood-burning oven, as well as a myriad of Mediterranean specialties sure to satisfy any guest. Their mozzarella is made fresh in-house as well.
Both Enzo and Giuseppe have been in the hospitality industry for years. As Enzo was serving as general manager at Ruschmeyer’s he brought his brother in due to high demand. Before Ruschmeyer’s, Giuseppe was the opening executive chef of Elio’s on the Upper East Side for 15-years. He also served as executive chef Grissini Restaurant in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and Lentini’s on the Upper East Side alongside his brother Enzo as general manager. Enzo also served as the general manager of both Il Mulino Wainscott and TriBeCa.
Etiquette Montauk is for the guest that has matured from the regular hospitality scene, who is looking for something fun and exciting to do while staying safe.
Etiquette Montauk at Ruschmeyer’s will be open daily, Friday + Saturday right now, dinner being seated at 9 pm with the show starting at 9:30 pm.
