A woman exiting a Morningside Heights subway station in broad daylight fought off a brazen thug attempting to sexually assault her, cops said.
The 36-year-old victim was climbing the stairs of the Cathedral Parkway subway station near 110th Street at around 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 4 when the sicko approached from behind, pulled down her pants and attempted to drag her into the station by her undergarments, cops said.
The victim screamed at the top of her lungs and the attacker finally fled through the station, cops added.
Police described the suspect as approximately 35 years old, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds.
