In an effort to create increased opportunity in the fashion design industry NYFW seeks emerging designers to rip the runway for the February 2019 installment of New York Fashion Week!

In less than 2 years Harlem Fashion Week has created a platform for the rising stars in the Fashion Design Industry during our Bi-Annual shows for NYFW. Their designers have been featured in both local and international publications: OZY.COM, Vogue Italia, Refinery 29, Racked.com, ToyafromHarlem, SpokenBlackGirl, FashionWeekOnline.
Their designers have also received the opportunity to network with some of the biggest names in fashion: Jay Manuel of America’s Next Top Model presented the award to the F/W 2018 emerging designer winner, Chevalier-Homme on the Harlem Fashion Week stage.
Harlem Fashion Week featured Project Runway superstar Viktor Luna and the Project Runway All Stars were at the show to cheer him on!
HFW is listed as part of the master schedule of NYFW and Eila Mell fashion journalist was in attendance to interview the rising fashion stars!
Harlem Fashion Week believes in providing a platform for emerging designers and HFW has been vital in launching their careers. In Season 3 of HFW we featured Kheris Rogers, said to be the youngest designer to show at NYFW.
Since the debut of her clothing line “Flexin’ In My Complexion” at Harlem Fashion Week, Kheris has appeared on The Steve Harvey Show, received her first Ad with NIKE!!! and was recently interviewed by TeenVogue Go Kheris!
Harlem Fashion Week will be hosting a final online designer call this 10/22-10/24 for the Upcoming Show on February 16, 2019 for New York Fashion Week.
