Harlem Stage Selected To Participate In Cantor Fitzgerald’s 2018 Charity Day

Harlem Stage, the legendary uptown venue that for over 35 years has promoted the creative legacy of Harlem and artists of color from around the corner and across the globe, is proud to participate in Cantor Fitzgerald’s 2018 Charity Day.

Tony, Emmy, SAG Award-winning actor, singer, star of the current Broadway hit, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, and Harlem Stage Board Member, LaChanze will be Harlem Stage’s celebrity ambassador during the September 11thevent.

Every year, Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliates, BGC Partners and GFI Group, in conjunction with the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, commemorates the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees and 61 Eurobroker employees who perished on September 11, 2001 by distributing 100% of its global revenues on Charity Day to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and dozens of charities around the world. Since its inception, Charity Day has raised $147 million globally, going to charities around the world.

This is the 3rdyear that Harlem Stage has been participant in Cantor Fitzgerald’s Charity Day.
