National Weather Service reports that a winter storm taking aim at New York City could dump up to four inches of snow Saturday night, latest forecasts predict.
The winter blast is expected to shock New Yorkers who basked in spring-like temperatures in the 60s this week. The mercury is expected to plummet to 26 degrees Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
The snow will start snowing around 7 p.m. and continue until about 3 a.m. Sunday. The predictions are for accumulation of between two and four inches.
It’ll be followed quickly by a return to early spring. The NWS forecasts temperatures to return to 60 degrees by Tuesday.
