Sparkle & 2014 queensThe folks at the 25th Annual Ms. Full-Figured USA Pageant gave Harlem a shout out about their milestone, the 25th Annual Ms. Full-Figured USA Pageant was held recently at Newark, New Jersey’s Robert Treat Hotel, to a standing-room-only crowd. The 26 contestants dazzled and delighted the audience and esteemed panel of judges, which included Naughty By Nature’s Vinnie Brown. Pageant Founder/CEO Theresa Randolph of JT Pageant Productions, whose motto is “size has no barrier on beauty,” crowned the three gorgeous new queens: Nijah Jihad, Ms. Full-Figured USA 2014 (sizes 12-16); Shelly King, Ms. Full-Figured USA Plus 2014 (sizes 18-26) and Annette Satterwhite-Cruz, Ms. Exquisite Full-Figured USA 2014 (ages 40 and over). Each lady won cash, a glittering crown and a plethora of other prizes. Over its past 25 successful years, this annual pageant has grown in leaps and bounds, and it’s no wonder, since the average American woman wears a size 14 (which is considered plus size by the fashion industry)!
