10th Annual Harlem Holiday Book Drive Benefiting Families In Shelters

December 1, 2021

The heartwarming holiday experience you’ve been waiting for–Total Equity Now’s 10th Annual Literacy Across Harlem Holiday Book Drive–is here!

Today through Thursday, 12/16, join Total Equity Now and our outstanding community partners in bringing reading-infused joy, hope, and inspiration to children and families living in Harlem shelters, havens for victims of domestic violence, and other transitional-living facilities.

It’s easy:

  1. Gather brand-new/gift-quality books.
  2. Confirm the business hours of the nearest partner location.
  3. Drop off your reading treasures. (Don’t forget your mask!)

Last December, thanks to your generosity and collaboration, we reached a new milestone: 23,800+ gift-quality books donated in just nine years.

This year, we aim to deliver at least 2,022 books in time to make the holidays–and 2022–a little brighter for our neighbors.
