The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy in East Harlem.
The boy was found dead Tuesday around 1:15 p.m. in the lobby of a building on East 121st Street between 2nd an 3rd Avenues, police said. The boy was unconscious and unresponsive but showed no signs of trauma, police said.
EMS transported the boy to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The Medical Examiner’s office will investigate to determine the boy’s cause of death.
The boy has not been identified, police told Patch.
